BenGamble is interested in the relationship between printmaking and painting, process and experimentation. His work communicates a range of themes namely: Struggle, Change and Beauty, using different visual icons and often reclaiming ephemeral imagery to communicate biblical narratives. The idea of communicating the cross without having to paint one.

Ben trained in Fine Art and Multi-Disciplinary Printmaking at master’s degree level, taught at Hereford College of Arts for many years and is now a vice-principal at a large UK college.
